Employment and Training, Small and Family Business

A message from Brent

“Small business is the engine room of the Queensland economy and Government at all levels need to be doing everything possible to help businesses recover from the devastating effects of COVID-19.

Many Queenslanders want a job and I believe that by working together, we can help bridge the gap by providing more training opportunities, while addressing current skill shortages, which I know many business owners are finding a challenge.

As the Shadow Minister for Employment and Training, Small and Family Business, and Shadow Minister for Open Data, I am keen to hear your thoughts on how the State Government can help small businesses and training organisations. I have provided a brief Small and Family Business Survey below.

This will help inform how we can navigate a course to a more productive future for businesses and the community more broadly.”
