I believe that it is important to recognise those who support our community and offer my thanks for all that you do to support us here in the Buderim Electorate. 

The Buderim Volunteer Awards 2024 took place on 4th September, and I once again teamed up with the Buderim War Memorial Community Association (BWMCA) to recognise the hard work of volunteers within the Buderim Electorate.

These awards are an opportunity each year for our community to recognise the contribution of the many volunteers and organisations that give so much to our community.

In 2024 there were four categories for nomination.

From the individuals and community organisations selected for these four awards, a fifth awardee was selected as the overall ‘Volunteer of the Year’.

If you know someone who deserves to be recognised in 2025 for their contribution to our community – nominate them when the form opens later this year.

A special morning tea was held in September for all nominees, when the winners will be announced.
