A major upgrade to the Sugar Rd & Mooloolaba Rd intersection in Buderim is complete, meaning locals can spend less time stuck in traffic.

This heavily used intersection now has improved lane configuration to reduce queuing, road widening and pavement rehabilitation, upgraded pedestrian crossings and lighting, new cycling infrastructure and the relocation of a Mooloolaba Rd bus stop.

I have been fighting for these upgrades since before I was first elected but the former Labor government kept removing the allocated funding.
